I was told if I drop off my truck wed morning I'd have the transfer case rebuilt before the weekend. I guess they didn't have time to get to it that week at all and never bothered to call and let me know I had to call and ask what was taking so long. So then the next week I thought surely they would hurry up and get me out the door. Wrong again. 3 more days go by and no word all while trying to get myself back and forth from work. I thought it would have been worth going to a transmission shop to get the specialty and knowledge of professionals but their customer service has been anything BUT professional in my experience.

Poor service, they mislead me into believing they had time to work on my vehicle. I ended up picking up my vehicle after four days with no work done.

Extremely poor service. For some reason this guy Mark decided not to fix my transmission and blamed the issues on engine problems even after another reputable Transmission shop diagnosed the problem. He overcharged for his services and would not deal with me directly but rather my boyfriend whom I had even told him was not the owner of the vehicle. Buyer beware.

Absolutely, Hands down, the BEST experience I have had taking any vehicle to a shop. I was told by another shop that I needed a transmission rebuild in my Mercedes. So after calling all around town for the best price, Mark at AK Transmission & Gear gave me, by far the best price around, so i brought my car in. It turns out, that I didn't even need a rebuild and he didn't even charge me for his time! Mark is the most honest guy in the business. Thank you Mark. After all the calls I made during my transmission ordeal, I learned that AK Transmission & Gear had the best price, they are friendly and HONEST! I would recommend them to anyone.

So great! Actually told me I don't need a new transmission even though AA Subaru told me I did. AA Subaru is a rip off. These guys took time and energy to say it was an engine problem, and a minor fix. I'm a broke college student, these guys really saved me. Thank you!!

This shop is a friendly place for consumers. They are willing to give free advice that is accurate and easy to understand. Also very reasonble on price. Check the competition and you will find this is the place to go.
