We stayed here in February of 2007 while vacationing at Disneyland. We chose the Anaheim Plaza because they were close to Disneyland, they had a competitive price and they accepted our two dogs (for a fee). The room was very large and comfortable. One of the mornings we were staying there, we awoke to find the power out in our room. We made a call to the desk and within half an hour we had power again. My one gripe is that we were charged more for parking than was stated on their webpage and the confirmation email that I received when I booked the room. I didn't realize this until we arrived home and I didn't pursue it further. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to families visiting Disneyland, especially those traveling with pets. They had one of the best pet policies that I could find in the Disneyland Resort area.

I love this particular Howard Johnson. So close to Disneyland, a totally of 8 min. walk!! They staff was friendly and courteous. I got a GREAT deal!! I had a really awesome room and it was soo clean! The beds were really comfy (pillow top beds) and clean! They best part was hearing the bell and horn from the Disneyland, train that was awesome. I give this hotel location two thumbs up! In fact I totally recommend this location if you happen to be going to Disneyland! The hotel also had a kid’s area with a pool and water slide! It also has a regular size pool for adults and a spa! And the spa is also a great place to watch the Disneyland fireworks if you want to avoid the crowds! My experience at the Howard Johnson on harbor blvd., is something that I will remember forever!
My husband and I booked on line to stay at Pacific Inn for 1 week out of our 2 week vacation. The rooms are clean and offer a microwave and small refrigerator. Which is perfect for breakfast or lunch in your room or leftovers later on. The rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable! The owners here Rick and his wife are fantastic! If you need some extra hangers or towels they are so happy and accommodating ! The owners here make you feel at home. so at home we cancelled the other hotel we were going to stay at for the second week and the other hotel offered a pool! But with the hospitality here and the owners making you feel special we skipped the pool! We will be back! The room rates cant be beat!
this was my frist vist to this hotel heard it had great reveiws so i stayed there and they were right it is a great place to stay had a nice quiet room and a wonderful sleep, the breafast was out of this world hot not cold like some places!! couildnt have asked for anything better will look forward to staying there again soon. i thank the people and staff there for bring helpful and friendly and gace wonderful service this hotel is on the top of my list i give it 5 stars and then some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was not impressed. Price was too high for not having a breakfast what so ever. No shuttle service to Disneyland. The parking is a joke. There might be 40 parking spots there. I don't like to valet, but I didn't want to park down the street and walk back to the hotel. Everything was clean and in good order. Has an arcade room but only a couple games work. Very small gym. Does have friendly front desk and valet. However, we will not use this hotel again.
Let me start off by saying that the managers are as dumb as they are stupid. I would not recommend this place to an enemy it is ran by unprofessional morons with no people skills. non friendly dumb asses.do not come here or you will be ripped off you will not get your security deposit back. And you will not get your things from your room if you get locked out unless you pay. Roach infested bed bug heaven.and its not beter then most.its a hell hole
Dropped in just for 1 night being in a bind but ended staying here the rest of my trip!! Front Desk was so friendly & helpful. Yes the rooms are a bit small but very clean, has micro and fridge & bathrooms look newly remodeled. Low key and quiet location besides a little noise from the street. Very pleased with my stay so I highly recommend it (especially with the price!!) and will stay again.
My family and I really loved our stay at the HoJo! We stayed for three nights. The kids loved their waterpark and we liked that we could walk to Disneyland and also see the fireworks right at the hotel if we didn't want to stay late at the park. Their Mimi's Cafe is wonderful and we ended up eating most meals there. We come back a lot and will certainly stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel on our trip to Disneyland. It was only $49 a night and a very short walk to the park entrances. The room was large and had a nice balcony. Their is also a Olympic Size pool and the grounds are beautifully decorated. The only draw back was the mattress being a little hard, but for the price it is the best deal near disneyland.
Stayed for three nights in July. Booked through booking.com. Asked to stay an extra night on arrival, no problem in doing so. Owner Rick was extremely nice and accommodating. He outlined all the amenities in the area and booked a tour with Grayline for us. A good lesson in hosting skills!
