I recently moved to New Mexico from VA and MISS the excellent care my dogs received from Dr. Watts. I learned SO MUCH about caring for Sam & Belle everytme they paid him a visit, be it for a well-check/preventative care or a sick visit...or surgery. Always proactive and UP ON the latest research in pet care, Dr. Watts is a pet advocate. He always offers CHOICES about what i should do - on what was the GOLD STANDARD - best care, as well as other options. Money is always an issue with our pets' care, as few of us have pet med care insurance, and what is best for one family pet is not the best for everyone's. I always felt confident in the THOROUGHNESS with which he evaluated and cared for my dogs. It was always a PLEASURE to visit, even when they were sick....and I wish he were in NM!!!!

If you are anywhere in the Culpeper or Warrenton area and care about your pets, this is the place to take them. The staff is top-notch and well trained, the whole experience is good for both the pet and the owner. Dr. Watts stays up to date on the latest health information for your pets so that he and his staff can deliver the best in service. They have a way of explaining things to the owner in easy to understand language so that you are sure of what is going on with the animal and the treatment. Dr. Watts has cared for two dogs and a cat for me and I would not take my animals anywhere else.

I starting taking my dogs to Dr. Watts when he was the director of a large practice in Fairfax. Now I drive from Fairfax to Culpeper for my veterinary care. I had been to several practices and was never satisified with the care my dogs received. Dr. Watts took all of my concerns seriously and treated the "whole animal", not just one issue at a time. He is very thorough, kind and knowledgeable. Now my dogs are older and have more serious health issues-and he is always there for us. His ability to diagnose and treat is outstanding.

Dr. Watts and the staff at Clevengers Corner are always cheerful, understanding and knowledgebale. That is why he is my vet for life!

Dr. Watts and his staff are highly recommended for their attentive and knowledgeable services. We always receive 5 star treatment when visiting the office, and the doctors and staff always take extra time with us to answer any questions and concerns that we may have. We are never rushed out, and we know our dogs are cared for as if they were family. The staff is continuously educated on up-to-date vet practices, and provide a small-town type of comfort.

My experience was very different. Our dogs are our babys. When our newest puppy was neutered, Clevenger's Corner was the only place that didn't give me a hundred options. They just included everything they recommended in the price they quoted me. Can you imagine some places were offering pain medicine as optional? We have never had our pet so happy to return to a vet even after surgery. They even trim their nails without charging! No nickel and dimes here - just a great vet.

If you like to pay twice the area's normal practitioner's fee because he is located nest to a gas station drive right in.



He wanted $400 plus to spay a small pup...that was the last straw with Dr Watts.
