        It was 2 p.m. Sunday, the restaurant was busy but less than 3/4 full. The Hostess seated me and took my drink order, she brought my coffee and water, and said the waitress would be with me soon. When she took people to the table behind me she stopped and asked if anyone had taken my order. I asked for some cream for my coffee and gave my order. The Hostess came back in a few minutes with a half glass of milk saying they were "out of creamer". I was thankful she was being helpful. Later a kitchen helper brought my food. It was 2:45 p.m. and it was barely warm.
        The lady who should have been my waitress, I think, never stopped at my table or looked at me. I was in a row of booths by the windows and she waited the three tables in front of me and at least one table behind me. I didn't recognize her and it's been over a year since my last trip there. It will be longer before I go back!!
        When I went to pay it was a new Hostess and I told her I never had a Waitress so I didn't have a ticket. I pointed out my table and she pulled up my order. Apparently Denny's has a policy about not apologizing because neither hostess ever did however they did take care of me.
