Claws-N-Paws Grooming

I don't know what this person is talking about when he speaks of abuse. I took my dog "due Bear" there for 6 years and never seen any kind of abuse. The already groomed pets kept jumping on Wanda as they wanted her to pick them up. Don't sound like abuse to me!
I would still be taking my pet there except I moved to Tennessee.

I brought my 13 year old mystery mutt in this afternoon to get nails trimmed way over due. The staff got us right in happy service all around my dog skittish with all the noise like most dogs and the staff knew just how to maintain my furball great service happy service and customer btw id recommend this place to anyone...

I worked at claws and paws for about a year. I hate saying I worked there. I have seen dogs hit over th head with clippers, fists, brushes, combs ect by Wanda. When confronted I was told I'd lose my job. Cats are choked while being shaved down. Dogs don't have it any better if anything they are treated worse! Wanda and Thelma both are very two faced. More often then none youre animal will be hit many times before they call you to come get them. That smile on wandas face when she tells you how much she loves youre baby is a lie! Please if you love you're animals DO NOT TAKE THEM TO CLAWS AND PAWS! Yea they open early and are speedy with the "grooming" but you're dogs life is more important! I'm not writing this to bad mouth because I dont work there any more, i walked out because of all the abuse that was and still is going on! DO NOT TAKE THEM PLEASE!

I was suprised by the early hours (5:30am) ,but the ladies were wide awake and ready to work.My poodle was well past due a grooming .They were done in about an hour and i got a new dog .they got my business from now on.thanks girls

I have a Westie who is very hard for people to cut. They have done nothing but a great job on my dog. I don't think there is anybody else I would trust besides them. I know there has been people that use to work there that bad mouth them but that's because they don't work there anymore, and there are reasons for that. I saw 5 star to them . Terry

While haveing been with Wanda and Marylou for ten years and love them both. I can only say DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE FOR GROOMING!! I have seen several pets hit some repetedly by Wanda for misbehaving or biting. Most of the time this happend was because the pets best interest was not considered instead the owners was. I had the misfortune of working there for ten years. When there were pets that should have been just given a short cut but was not just to please the owners and for addisional proffit for the shop they would be brushed out. If you have never heard your pet scream from haveing its hair pulled out your lucky. When i would confront the owners and thier shop foreman to cut the pet down most of the time there would be a threat of job loss not to go ahead and brush it out. I have heard the screams of torture of pets in claws and paws. I am ashamed to have been there to have cared for money more than what was right for the pet.
