Disappointed with outcome of French Gel manicure on first visit. I usually get 2-3 weeks wear out of a French gel from other salons. This one started looking bad in only 4 days. I was traveling all week, and when I returned a week later, I stopped by to show them the poor job that was only 1 week old. I told them that I would be back by in a couple of days to have them redo it. They told me that they did not use cheap polish and that my lotion and hair dye caused the discoloration and cracks. (I didn't accuse them of using cheap polish, and I've used the same lotion through several French Gel manicures. I also don't dye my own hair.) I came back to have them redo it at no charge, and they had the very same guy do my gel again. This time he was rougher and caused my pinky finger to bleed while buffing. He apologized and I should have left right then, but I let him finish. Don't waste your time.
