A Masterfully Created Italian Dining Experience by StephenM aka Bulldog - "Simply the BEST Italian in the Atlanta area!" My wife and I went to the recently opened La Casa Italian Grill Restaurant in Alpharetta. Wow, now this is great Italian food! We are both picky and this place just hit the spot. My new favorite restarant in Alpharetta. We tried the pizza, the salads, a few fish dishes, the fresh vegetable ravioli - all great! The desserts are so fresh, homemade and awesome in taste and really neat presentation. The food and environment are great! And the drinks are great, both the great wine selection and the mixed drinks. This is my new favorite Italian Restaurant, actually the only restaurant I can truly say is Italian. Definately worth the Dining Experience! The owner and the team are great. We will be back for more. One more thing, we really love the Italian themed decor. Bravo to the owners of this fine restaurant - exactly what Alpharetta needed. Stephen Mark

We have been going to Buca's frequently for more than a year. Whenever we have friends in town we go to Buca's. Their marinara sauce is so good you could eat it with a spoon, but use the homemade bread they serve to get every drop. The pizza is not your everyday pizza place pizza. The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce makes you think you were eating in Italy. The portions are huge and a couple could share a small salad and small entree and feel so full it will make you want to loosen your belt. The small size is meant to feed two people and the large will easily feed 4-6 people. You can't go wrong to eat at Buca Di Beppo.
I had a recent visit and I thought the food was good. The ambiance was nice but the restaurant can feel a little dark. My server Taylor was awesome and very attentive. I ordered the calamari and a margarita pizza to start. The calamari was a bit salty. My favorite was the spaghetti and meatballs. It wasn't "saucy" and the noodles were larger than the typical spaghetti noodles. The restaurant is located at the Avalon so parking can be a bit of an issue. I recommend valet which is validated by the restaurant.
