        the place is very dirty and the cooks never wear gloves & the hosts/waitresses use foul language and have horrible manors

        A years-old favorite. I've gone here since childhood, and I still look forward to each visit. The food is no-nonsense, plain old good. No fancy sauces and broiled this, that, and the other thing. Also none of the frilly prices that usually go with all that. The fact that such good ice cream can follow the good food is another plus. I absolutely love strawberry ice cream with strawberries and dry walnuts. My favorite, and I always order my meal knowing I need room for that! I leave each time wondering how long it'll be until I get to come back. If you've never been, or it's been a long time, TREAT YOURSELF! You're worth the trip.
