I can not thank you Modern Family Vision and Kim enough for suggesting that I try Digital Lenses for my eyeglasses. I was a little reluctant at first and hesitant to upgrade to digital lenses. My first thought was that I wear my contact lens most of the time and I did not think the difference, if any, would really matter or even be noticeable on those few occasions when I would wear my eyeglasses. Now I am sold! First, thanks to you and your staff for helping me to select a fabulous pair of frames. The color is great for my skin and I have a little bit of bling to set off the look. I have received several compliments on them. Second, I wore the new glasses with the digital frames for the first time on a Sunday after I had taken my contact lens out for my weekly cleaning. Usually whenever I would wear my regular eyeglasses, I could not wait to put my contact lens back in before the day has ended. Not true with my new glasses and digital lenses! I can wear these for days without even thinking about my contact lens. I find the vision to be as crisp as I have with my contact lens and far better than the regular eyeglasses. I especially thought that in the outdoors I would have the usual glare problem that I would have with my regular glasses, but even the glare seems to be reduced when looking out of my digital lenses. Third, my eyes always seemed to water and bother me causing me to continually rub my eyes, take the glasses on and off, etc, after wearing my regular eyeglasses for several hours. I do not have that problem with the digital lens. I am not sure what this means, but I take it as another reason to put down the regular lens and stick with the digital ones. Finally, Modern Family Vision you made me a believer. I would not go back to regular lenses. The difference in price is definitely worth it. I love, love, love my digital lens eyeglasses!
I never write reviews but I am compelled to write this one. I came in and purchased my son sport goggles and they came in on a Thursday and let me know I tried to pick them up Friday before my sons game but could not get there before they closed I call the phone number just to see the hours for tomorrow since my son has a soccer game Saturday morning at 9 I was hoping to get them for him. To my surprise someone answered the phone I was so excited cause I thought maybe they were open I asked what time they closed she said 5 it was 620 so I then asked what time they opened in the morning she said 8, then something amazing happened she asked me if she could help me with anything. I explained my dilemma. She said she was the office manager and she was out to eat right then but when she was done she would call me and meet me at the office to get the glasses. REALLY WOW. So around 715 I got a call and picked up the glasses. Wait the story doesn’t end about 2 weeks later my dog chewed the glasses up so I called again TODAY I got the office manager again she remembered me and the first question was when was my sons next game I said Saturday but I know his RX is strong and I understand if you can’t get them. She said she would have them Friday and if I can’t get to the office she would deliver them to my home Friday after work. Are you serious this is great? Wow what wonderful customer service.
I had been trying to get my insurance benefits from BCBS and was on hold for so long I had to hang up I tried again on another day and got the same deal. I even went to my HR department with no help. I called Modern Family Vision to see if they knew what the standard benefits were for BCBS I spoke with a girl named Kayla and she said all plans are different but asked me my information and said she would handle it. The next day she called me back with all the information that neither myself nor my HR department could get. I was already happy when I walked in but after I saw the doctor I was even more satisfied. The entire staff was helpful.
