        Overall

        Expect to pay 2-3 times the cost as most other vets. Expect to wait hours in the waiting room. Expect to deal will some (not all) rude front desk personal. If it’s an emergency and the Allen Park VCA is your only option, then go there…. Otherwise I would avoid at all cost$$$$$.

        Overall

        This place is the absolute best. They have a great and friendly staff. I had a Winter White Dwarf Hamster that needed a nail clipping. They did a great job. The secretary was very friendly and kind and the vet was great. They were all truly amazing and I would recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone. Go there! It's a smart move!!!!!!

        I would say go judge for yours...

        I would say go judge for yourself, but I didn't like the atmosphere it wasn't friendly, quick service, and they also tried to push for more than I was looking to get done. I don't mind them making me aware of what I need, but don't be pushy with it. I won't be going back there because of my experience plus I found a animal hospital I absolutely love for my pet everyone is friendly, and the service there is much better.

        Use if you have an emergancy....I guess

        I feel with this economy, It's not the time to Up sell. That business need to be fair with there prices and they will in turn have loyal customers. I would like to recommend an excellent vet that sells there meds for half of what VCA Allen Park does. It's well worth the drive to see Dr. Dasher @ Belleville Animal Hospital. You can tell she loves her job and is there for the animals, Not the Money. I made the mistake of taking my dog to VCA because it's walking distances from my house and it's late hours. In hindsight i Should have waited till morning and made appointment with our vet. I was told i needed a $50- medication to treat my dogs ear infection. I used it for two weeks twice a day and Hunter (our dog ) seen no improvement. Took Hunter back to The Belleville vet, received a $22- medication and now Hunters ears look great! So Please do yourself a favor and save some money ! Go to a small independent vet that's there for the love of animals and not a chain clinic there to make the bucks.
