I took a Yellow cab to Miami Airport. The driver did a good job. I ordered the cab in advance for 8 am. Driver was on time (a few minutes early). Car was a sedan big enough for 2 suitcases to fit in trunk without any hassles. WE had a pleasant chat during the drive. He asked where I was going and what airline I was flying on. He immediately knew which terminal to take me to and which end of that terminal my airline check in counter was located. He got my luggage out and helped me get it into the terminal. In Miami Dade county taxi fare to the airport is calculated on a flat rate zone basis as set by the Board of County Commissioners. I live as far north as possible and still be in Miami Dade county—which means that I pay a flat rate of $55, plus cost of mandatory highway toll. I thought he did a good job picked me up on time, took me there by the shortest route and let me out at my airline check in counter without any hassles. Even took my luggage in. Plus he was a nice person. I gave him a 20 percent tip, the same as for good service in a restaurant.

I got good service from yellow cab and thought I would give them a good rating but there are so many yellow cabs companies in Miami I gave my review to the wrong yellow cab company (I checked the receipt --oops) This is the company that I took at the Miami airport to get me to the Fort Lauderdale airport because I screwed up my flight and missed my first flight at Miami airport so had to get to Fort Lauderdale real fast,. I made it on time with safe driving no speeding and got to the right terminal and all was ok.
