I was referred to Goodrich Roofing by a very good friend of mine. She had her roof replaced and he dad had also used Goodrich. When her salesperson, Jeff was at her home, she gave him my contact information. He called me as soon as he left her place and we agreed to meet ...morethe next day. Jeff showed up on time, we talked about my concerns with the roof; I had lost a lot of shingles during a wind storm in the spring. He went up and inspected the roof and took measurements. He then reviewed my options with me, bringing to my attention that I may be able to file a homeowners insurance claim to cover the damage; there was more damage up there than what I could see from the ground. He then helped me file the claim with my insurance company. A week later my insurance company sent an adjuster out. Jeff came out to meet with him to review the damage. My insurance company agreed to cover the cost of the roof. At that time, Jeff and I reviewed the items that would be installed and upgraded my roof from a 3-tab to a laminated dimensional shingle at no charge. We then scheduled an appointment for the roof to be replaced. On the day of install the roofers arrived right on time. When they started the tear off we discovered that the underlying decking was bad. The job foreman called and let Jeff know; he came out, reviewed the damage and made the call to my insurance company to get approval for the decking. The install continued and was completed that day. The installers were very polite and did a great job. They even did the roof on my dog house to match my new roof! At the end of the day they ran a giant magnate through the yard to pick up stray nails and let me know that sometimes a few get missed and to be careful. It’s been 6 months and I’ve only found 2 nails in the yard, considering the amount of roofing material that was taken off, I’m really impressed. The roof came with a 3 year workmanship warranty and a 5 year limited lifetime warranty on the shingles. I called Goodrich out because my swamp cooler had a tiny leak, they came out, saw that it was a small gap in the metal, sealed it up and it has been perfect ever since. They explained that sometimes when the unit is move the silicone seals along the edges work their way loose. I am very happy with the new roof and would recommend Goodrich to anyone. They are not the cheapest around, but they do offer the best quality for your money; and I know if I have an issue in 10 years they’ll still be around to help. I checked them out with the BBB and they have an A+ rating and have been in business for over 60 years.view less

Yeah, the thought of having a NEW home was great. We've lived here for 3 years now. There's gunshots in the hills every night, all night long. There's a bullet hole in our garage and holes THROUGH Several neighbor's houses. In recent remodeling we have found garbage and bag...moregies stuffed in light sockets and various \"gaps\" in our coutertops and shelving. There was no warning of the dust storms..that buried my mother's back and front doors when she first moved in. There's garbage and left over construction material under our rock and gravel. Pieces of the base boards started falling apart in the first year. Some of the houses are missing roofing shingles. A neighbors house (that has been up and occupied for just over 2 years) has sagging in his roof. My advice, question the hell out of the realtors. We didn't know anything about buying a house. And they ate us alive. All they care about is that next payment on their lexus' and BMWs' parked out in front of the office.view less
We have used Chase Candles for years. Ever since I read Mamie Eisenhower used them because she wanted a candle that did NOT drip on the White House Lace tablecloths. i, too, was looking for the same 'impossible' solution. And found it in Chase Candles. These are so easy to...more use and so safe. They actually amaze guest. A distinguished guest said to me, "I have been watching that candle for over an hour and it has not burned down. How?" We explained the enchantment of the Chase Candles and another true believer was born!.view less
