I would not recommend this place for your child's birthday party. I gave it 3 stars because the girls who entertained the kids were very positive (they could've smiled more they weren't "Barney" happy) overall the activities were very fun for the kids.. I was disappointed, when I called to book this event I was told that I CAN NOT bring my own food. Gymboree provides the pizza (did not give details where the pizza was from). To order it is 5 Large pizza's for $100 ($20 per pizza) and you have to order 5 at a time. I was told that the 5 Lg pizza's would have been enough for my party that they are use to getting big parties and they usually have leftovers. Well it was not enough and the party I expected to go wasn't all there, thankfully. They had to cut the slices in half to make enough. Well Gymboree orders their pizza from DION'S PIZZA. They charge me $20 for each large pizza if I would have paid for it on my own it would have cost $10.65, I'm sure Gymboree has a special price also for ordering with them. I feel ripped off by Gymboree this is not the only kids fun activities place in Albuquerque. Next year for my daughters 2nd birthday party it will not be at Gymboree.

I stopped here to get Covenant's number and happened upon the other review. Obviously someone with an axe to grind about the curriculum with no actual knowledge of the school. I, on the other hand, know Covenant real well. All of my daughters went there, (one still there) along with my neices and nephew. Whatever you call the curriculum, it has certainly worked for my family. My oldest daughter had no problem adjusting to kindergarten because of what she learned at Covenant and was so far ahead of most of the class in reading and other skills it wasn't even close. All of the kids in my family are pretty sharp and Covenant played an important part in their development. My daughters love their school and were and are very hapy there. And, my family certainly isn't the only one as we have seen quite a few other families send all of their kids there. I know that because I have seen and talked to many of the same people for years on the very well-attended family nights, such as the terrific Christmas program. I couldn't just let that one review stand alone, especially one like that based in total ignorance and on some obvious political agenda.
I have read all the other ratings and have to say I disagree with all of them. Granted they aren't the most huggy, huggy people, but they are efficient and I have always been treated well. I was able to pick out the glasses I wanted witht he lenses I wanted. I wasn't pushed into any thing I didn't want. I could have picked out some very nice lower priced frames and had a complete pair for under $100.00, but I wanted the more expensive frames. I have never been presured in the three years I have gone to Eyeworks to purchase anything or pushed into something more expensive. I have been wearing contacts for 20 years and see no difference in them than other doctors I have seen. In fact, I use to go to Eye Associates and thought that their services and prices were much higher than Eyeworks. My contacts are the same price as pretty much everywhere else. After reading the reviews, I priced the same glasses I bought at Eyeworks on Saturday and found that they were about the same price at four other stores. Overall, I can't complain about Eyeworks in the slightest.
