Just one day ago I would have given this place 5+ stars. Dr. Shirley Russman is truly the most amazing vet I have ever met.

I've fallen on hard times. But I've started to make a little money now. VCA closed my account and will not allow me to bring my animals in, even though I have cash and am willing to pay up front.

My cat is dying. I need to put him down. And now, I have to go to a stranger and do it because once you get sideways with VCA you can never come back. Cold hearted B*******s

Expertise
Professionalism

My sweet little 14 pound dog was attacked by a pit bull not on a leash here in the parking lot of my complex and a friend recommended VCA for their free first visit coupon. Dr. David Schoonover is one of the best vets and people I've had the pleasure to know. There's no handwringing or semblance of care but genuine dedication to proper care. I recommend VCA to everyone.

the worst place ever. My little dog got attack by coyotes right in front of me. I chased them, grabbed her, I had given her to my boyfriends mom, who was in the hospital for cancer operation. I decided to take her to the vet even though she was not bleeding. I wanted her checked out because of several bites. I was told she needed immediate surgery for a puncture in the intestine, I said what ever it takes, they waited 4 hours before they operated, then called said she would be fine, next morning they said she was doing good, then for lunch they called and she had passed, $10,000 dollar Bill for a dead dog on christmas eve, then had to go tell my boyfriends mom. I raised that dog and we are still grieving. I met a woman there while I was waiting whom did not know any better, had a very cute dog happy playful, she had it there for a check up, I asked if she was ok, she said yes but the dog was diabetic, it had already cost her $18,000.00 for medicine and blood work. REALLY!!!!

VCA is a rip off.

The VCA on Montgomery is a rip off. They will try to sell you everything and anything. I took my lab puppy there for his shots. That went ok, but then they try and sell you heartworm meds at outrageous prices, then a procedure to see if my dog will have hip dysplasia, and then a corrective surgery if he does have it. They wanted the dog to be micro-chipped (a good thing, but I'll take my business elsewhere). After 4 months, my dog got an inflammed lymph node on his face. $300 dollars later the vet had no idea what it could be. They will price match meds, so when I did bring in the a print out for heartworm, the receptionist checked with the vet and told me that because the records showed that the last hearworm he received was 3 months ago, he would have to be tested for heartworm. I told the receptionist that I had given heartworm meds myself, but would not take my word for it.

What a way to get out of price-matching!

VCA sucks.

Wonderful veterinary clinic

Our regular veterinarian referred us to VCA to see a specialist to confirm her diagnosis on our kitten. I was so impressed with Dr. Hribernik and Dr. Foster and the others professionals there. They were so kind to me and our kitten. They are very knowledgable but are able to explain things very well. They could have charged a lot for their diagnosis but did not. They were amazing and I highly recommend them.
