The food has always been delicious, even to go is always tasty. The place is always crowded, excellent food for the price. The wait staff is always nice, the buffet is good and we always enjoy our meal.
I dont uderstand the negative reviews, I have been there at least 40 times over the past 5 years (including take out), and have never been disappointed. The food is always EXCELLENT! Very happy, loyal, customer.
Give the Taj a try!
i and my wife went for dinner at tajmahal and ordered for a chicken dum biryani and the dish was really horrible ,the process for dum biryani was totally wrong ,It is the worst and beleive me folks it was very costly as well,I will never ever go there again and nor will i recommend to anyone,
Went here on a Sunday and had the Buffet. Seating and Waitstaff were very poorly organized. The food was lukewarm, which is not good for a buffet. It tasted pretty decent but got cold very quickly so really wasnt enjoyable. Waited 10-15 minutes for someone to refill our drinks, finally got up and headed for the pitchers ourselves where we were intercepted by the hostess who refilled our glasses. I had to use to go to the bathroom from the food, while in the stall I noticed vommit spray...view moreed on the walls of the stall, then I noticed chunks of it covering the drainhole in the floor. Obviously someone had cleaned this up but did a very poor job of it, just like with everything else...view lessProvided by Citysearch
the food is not as good as the other two indian restaurants, namely Bombay grille and India palace in albuquerque, the service was rude, the waiter literally threw the bill at me, if you want good authentic indian food, you will be dissapointed.Provided by Citysearch
I've eaten here a lot and still one of my absolute favorites here in Albuquerque. The food is always delicious, for veggies and non-veggies alike. The Mango Lassi is divine! I've been there with a crowd of 8 teenagers and just a quiet evening out with my boyfriend and it's always delightful. The service is amazing and the host is so amiable. She's a real sweetheart. It's very nicely decorated inside and the wine bottle chandelier in the lower dining area is neat and eclectic. The price...view mores are superb for the service and quality of food. From the outside you wouldn't expect it to be such a wonderful place.view lessProvided by Citysearch
