Dr. Contreras is nice. Wait times for scheduled times are ridiculous, even if you show up 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled time. We waited 40 minutes the first time we were there. The ultrasound tech is cold blooded, bad bedside manners and unfortunately she had to be the one to deliver news that my baby no longer had a heartbeat. The doctor's office called me twice to get information that I had previously given to them in person and on paper. They called me once to tell me I was a "no-show" for an ultrasound appointment when I wasn't scheduled for one until a week later (they charge $100 for no-shows). Fortunately after talking to them they said it was a scheduling mistake on their part. They needed a urine sample and there was blood and urine on the toilet seat and once I told a nurse about it, she said she would get someone to come clean it but after waiting for a while for that to happen I was already frustrated because they had me waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment and no longer wanted to wait so I just wiped off the toilet seat with antibacterial wipes myself. There were no paper towels available that time either. The doctor prescribed medication for me and when I went to pick it up, it wasn't in the system. I called the doctors office while I was at the pharmacy to resolve my prescription issue but they are inconveniently closed from 12-130pm and don't pick up their phones for lunch (can't they take turns taking lunch breaks and answering patients' calls during lunch hours, there are several people working in the reception at any given time) It's been a drag and an unpleasant experience and will never go there again. Once again, Dr. Contreras is nice but office management/administration lacks major competence.
