I am totally bummed that this is where everyone says is the best food in town...really? They have no flavoring in the meats at all. like not even salt and pepper. I realize new mx food is simple and doesnt use lots if spices- they use green and red pep to flavor....but what if you also use some cumin and salt, and garlic..or anything! It does have the prettiest grounds of any place in town.

Provided by DexKnowsWe we there for a wedding reception on the 7th of June and I have to tell you what a great place this was. The service was excellent, there was never a dry glass of soda or tea, the food was also excellent. The servers we just waiting on all of us hand and foot (about79 people) they even had wait staff for the Bride and Groom. The patio was beautiful. I know the parents of the Bride and groom could not have been happier with the all around service.Thank you again I hope all of the wait staff and the cordinator get a high five for all they did fo make the Bride and Groom not worry about one thing. Thank you again

Provided by DexKnowsEl Pinto had developed into one of the most delightful, well run, terriffic food, beautifully set (outside and inside patios pleasant ambience, abundantly floral, tree lined, bountifully landscaped) private rooms, meeting areas, delicious catering, friendly helpful excellent service, experienced personable managers, a solid memorable culinary experience for the one time tourist or for the frequent flyer (we enjoy El Pinto several times a week). Twin owners, James and John Thomas, and twin CEO's Jim and John Garcia (especially Jim Garcia, who must have a bed somewhere in the place, as we see him on most of our visits) have done a phenominal job feeding and entertaining presidents and royalty and showing the same gusto to lowly neighbors such as ourselves. You will never be dissapointed at El Pinto,

Wonderful restaurant! I love the decor of this place. The food is great, the happy hour fabulous! We're from Florida and when we visit New Mexico, this is always one of our stops.
