They get one star cuz I have to rate to finish review. They dont deserve that. Had to make an appointment to try mother of bride dresses. Why? The customer service was zero. The rest of the wedding party is in Florida so I was there alone. All they did was slap my name on a dressing room. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for something I thought would be special.

The staff was so AMAZING! Serena was my consultant, and by far the most amazing customer service representative! She was attentive, understanding, and FABULOUS!!!! Totally recommend! I showed her my interests and the FIRST dress she pulled ended up being my wedding gown!!

How do you expect to do business if you don't answer the phone!! I was told I could call back and pay for the dress I wanted. WOW cant do that now can I!!

Only one helpful employee

I went in to the Albuquerque David's Bridal store and they actually had time to fit me in to try on dresses the same day. I was assisted by AJ and she was very friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. She brought me a bra, slip, and shoes to try on. She helped me into all the dresses and even showed me different accessories to go with the dresses. I didn't buy a dress that day, but I made an appointment to come back with my mom to try on more dresses the week after. I received no call to confirm my appointment. I showed up on time and they told my mom I wasn't scheduled in the computer, but I had an appointment card to prove it. After standing around for awhile, an assistant finally came over. She showed me a few dresses, but then I told her my budget was around $200-300. I felt totally dismissed after that. I continued to look at dresses, but I didn't know where the lady who was helping me went. My future mother in law and I started taking dresses off the rack to try on, until one of the other employees told us not to. I didn't know what was going on. We eventually found the lady ""helping"" us, she got me a dressing room, but only brought me a bra (the wrong size), not a slip or shoes. I asked if she was supposed to help me try on dresses (I assumed it was standard because AJ did so). She responded very rudely, telling me that since it wasn't a big, frilly dress that I could do it myself, and then asked why my sister was there if she wasn't going to help me put on the dresses. I didn't respond, but I was thinking, ""maybe because she's not getting paid to help me, you are."" So my sister helped me into all of the dresses. Most of the hooks on the dresses were broken, no doubt because the employees make unqualified friends and family hook and zip the dresses. Anyway, it was a very disappointing experience that day. I came back several days later to buy one of the dresses I tried on. I stood with my sister at the entrance of the store for about ten minutes. Nobody helped us. Several employees walked by, looked at us, but didn't say a word to us. No greeting, no ""can I help you"". I became frustrated, so I walked over to the rack, grabbed the dress I wanted, and walked up to the register, since apparently that's the only way I was going to be acknowledged. I know you're not supposed to take dresses off the rack yourself but I would have just stood there forever because apparently nobody cared to help me. So a lady rang me up, and AJ walked up and actually remembered me. She congratulated me on finding a dress, and seemed genuinely happy for me. AJ was the only positive part of my experience at David's Bridal. All the other employees I came in to contact with were very rude and dismissive. I honestly wish I hadn't found ""the dress"" at this store, because I don't want to support them, but it was a very good price, and I do love the dress. But I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. And it's not like me to write a review like this, I usually just shrug it off when I receive poor service, but I think wedding dress shopping should be a pleasant experience, since it's such a special time.

terrible service at Albuquerque Store

I chose David's Bridal because I love my wedding dress I bought from them, the beautiful bridesmaid dresses and the fact they are a national company since 3 of my 5 bridesmaids including myself live out of the state of New Mexico. I had a wonderful experience with David's bridal in California as did my sister and friend in Arizona and Colorado. However, my bridesmaids in Albuquerque had a TERRIBLE experience. The assistants were extremely rude. I gave my bridesmaids the exact color and style number and the store still managed to get the order wrong. They were also rude to me when I went to the Albuquerque store for alterations! I ended up taking my dress back to California. If you don't have to go to David's Bridal in Albuquerque, don't do it. The only advantage is the price and the fact they are a national company, no customer service whatsoever at the Albuquerque store. Princesses do not go to this store expecting they will think this is your special day!

Davids Bridal in Santa Fe, NM ordered the wrong color of Jr. bridesmaid dresses They never called to tell us the dresses were in (it was a "mis-communication") and when I did go check on the dresses, they had been at the store for 2 weeks but were the wrong color. They told us they had no more in the warehouse and refused to give us any kind of discount. It was too late to order another style with the correct color.

When we first went in to the store, they were "too busy" to help us and couldn't locate the bride's information on their computer. The regional manager was the most curt, offensive, and unprofessional woman. Unfortunately, the bride had chosen Davids's Bridal in Austin where they were most curteous and helpful. This did not translate to the Santa Fe store. If you want to be a customer who expects any type of customer satifaction (feeback, helpfulnes, respect, etc.) do not go David's Bridal in Santa Fe.
