I made a schedule time to come in, just to change my battery in my phone. The tech got me check in. They put walk in first. This is one of the worst apple stores I have ever been to.

Terrible customer service. Scheduled an appointment for a battery replacement, drove three hours to Albuquerque for the service, and after waiting almost an hour past my appointment time; I was told they didn't have any more technician time available that evening but could fill out the paperwork so I could bring the phone back in a few days...I LIVE 3 HOURS AWAY!!! Employees were rude and couldn't understand why I wouldn't just come back another day. Called Apple Customer Support and they were no more helpful...they could schedule me another appointment, either with this store or another one, but the fact that this is the closest one to where I live didn't seem to be something they comprehended. Offered to have me send the phone in for service, but I would be without it for at least a week.

Overall, very unhappy with this store and Apple support in general. While I enjoy the iPhone OS and how the apps work on it, I guess the phone will get traded in on an Android model. A good OS and smooth apps don't mean anything when your customer service is TRASH.

The store was crowded but the guy at the Genius Bar took care of us like we were the only people in the store. Top notch service and quick replacement of my phone, free under warranty. Just make sure to make a reservation ONLINE first.

Called 3 times today during opening hours and I've been on hold a total of 90+ minutes. Does a live person answer the phones ever. Very disappointed

I had a iPhone with a broken + volume button. It was replaced under warranty. The data I had on the phone was going to take an HOUR to put on cloud and transfer to the new phone! !! WTF, lousy bandwidth at the store. Then the tech told me I had to PURCHASE more screen protectors if I wanted the new phone to be like the original.

I figured that would have been a nice step considering I was on my lunch (90 min). So they took my old phone with the protector film on it.

now I had to buy another packet.

I find the shop filled with quite a few arrogant and distant techs. Genius bar???

In this day I have early seen such self-promotion

.

I have since gone to a Samsung system.

I found the young men at the Genius Bar knowledgeable and helpful

The appointment process is tedious but the service is quite good. It appears as though they make a seriouseffort to service and help their clients.

Worst service and Manager ever!

Brand new iPhone 5s, one week old and just died. Took it to the Uptown Apple Store and first thing I encounter is to have a swarm of sales people hovering around teenagers playing with iPhones and iPads; I waited for help to no avail and went to a "seemingly" busy sales person and told him about my problem, his response was "do you have an appointment"? are you kidding me? I needed an apt to have my phone looked at! and it just died 15 minutes ago!... His lack of knowledge required for me to ask for his manager, Mr. Mike G... funny thing they won't let you know last names... Long story short, he said he couldn't do anything for me, and I quote: "I'm sorry, I can't do anything for you, that's how Apple likes to do things, or I can give you a 16GB right now"... I say that was unacceptable since I paid for a 32GB but I'd take an appointment with the Genius Bar and he just walked away! Went to the back of the store and never came back to advise me about the appointment; I waited between 10-15 minutes, which was long enough and finally I approached another sales person to find Mike the manager, this sales persona came back with no manager and just said "a tech will see you"... that tech just plugged the phone to a charger and said "it's not working, we could replace through the Genius Bar it but I can't guarantee it will be a new one"...!!!! He gave me no option but to call Apple 1-800 number or to make an appointment for the next day.... Needless to say, I had no choice and as of today I'm without phone and will be returning again to the store to find out what's wrong with my phone... Horrible customer service and if "so called" managers" don't care about customers they should be working somewhere else...

DO NOT ENTER IF SCOTT, manager, is working. I left the store in tears as a result of the man. I signed up for training classes when I bought my MacBook. The last 2 instructors have been BAD. Not only didn't the instructor today know his subject but he had severe bad breathe.I am not kidding. When I complained to the manager he got me so upset that I broke into tears and sat there crying. I have a service dog and it was impossible for me to leave until I calmed down. While their training is cheap, if you have a problem and Scott is on duty expect to get nowhere but aggravated. I had been an Apple junkie. Not any more.

I LEFT THIS STORE IN TEARS TODAY

I had the 2nd "instructor" One to One at Apple who did no know his product in two weeks. When I complained to the manager, Scott he was so pleasant that I left the store in tears. Since I have been a huge supporter this a sad lesson but it is quite obvious that once they have your money they could care less. While their classes are cheap too many of the instructors do not know what they are doing and the manager is not customer oriented.

Buyer Beware

It is a shame that Apple is not in the business of satisfying customers. They lost a very good customer today and potentially hundreds to follow. My work affords me an audience of thousands each week and I will certainly share this experience of disservice regarding the quality of Apple products and their AppleCare repair and replacement plan. Buyers beware! Apple is in the business of selling their products and services but fails to back them up. There appears to be a major flaw in the iPhones that is prevalent. Due to this failure, if you purchased an AppleCare plan you basically flushed your money down the toilet. Apple phone and outlet employees are obviously following some sort of scripts in dealing with consumers like you and I. A couple of days ago I contacted AppleCare by phone to direct me in getting my phone battery to hold a charge more that 6 to 8 hours. I was told that I would have to mail it in and be without a phone for about 5 days. Yeah, right! When I advised the service rep that it would not be possible to be without my phone, and that I had AppleCare to extend my warranty to 2 years, she shared that an express option was available but it would cost me. I thought I paid for some warranty guarantees when I purchased the plan along with my phone. The plan advised that repairs and replacement within 2 years would not cost me. Refusing that service, she then offered to set me up with a walk-in service at one of the Apple outlets. She scheduled the appointment which I appreciated. I was also sent an opinion survey the next day but did not complete it since I had yet to get any service. Well, I just got back from the appointment and it was a horrific experience. I got there early and was privy to overhearing the service agent discuss the repair and replacement needs with 2 separate customers. Both customers were advised the same thing; that their phones were corroded , their warranties were voided, and it would cost them at least $149. They were also requested to opt for the AppleCare plan that was an additional outrageous amount but they could rest assured for the next 2 years. Huh! Neither customer went for it. It was my turn and the rep immediate looked at the phone and declared “corrosion.” It results from dropping your phone in the toilet, taking it into the shower, steaming it in the sauna, or some other moisture issue. Since none of those pertained to me, coupled the fact that I live in one of the driest places on earth, the canned response was lame and unacceptable. Moreover, he could not show me where this corrosion appeared and why my phone fully charged but failed to hold the charge because of “corrosion.” However, a bright spot, for just $149, I could have a replacement. It appears that “corrosion” is not damage but normal wear and tear, not covered. My AppleCare was for naught, even though I have the service for one more year. My phone is only one year old. This sounds like an Apple problem and not every customer’s presumed neglect. Is this not all total nonsense? I will never buy and Apple/Mac product or an AppleCare plan and advise the wise to do also. I am taking my business to their competitors. Join Me!

If you can claw your way in to the store and wait for a sales associate, it's a great experience.
