I actually thought this place was fantastic. I'm from Denver, and have been disappointed with all the Indian I've had there. I stopped by this restaurant while visiting Albuquerque and thought it was great. The service was very good and the staff seemed attentive, and the food was great. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala (although they called it something else) and some type of lamb meal, along with some nan, and I found each item to be very satisfying. Although the food came out incredibly fast it seemed pretty fresh and had good flavor.

I'm a regular at Maurya, and I almost always order korma kashkash with lamb. This particular dish is no longer on the menu, but the chef keeps making it for me, and the waitstaff know me well enough to understand that when I walk in the door, that's pretty much what I am going to get. On the rare occasion that I've ordered something else, it's always been prepared to perfection (but nothing's yet supplanted that lamb korma hankering).
I was very please with the exceptional service we recieved. They were prompt in responding to my needs and the food was wonderful. They decorated the trays to match my theme and colors and were very detailed oriented. I will definitly use them again and reccomend them highly! I just visited their new "to go" shop with take and bake meals.......WONDERFUL!!!!
