These people are the greatest and went well beyond any reasonable expectations to make me happy. After shopping at the other “billiard and spa” stores in town, I stopped by Dr. Billiard. Phil (a co-owner with his wife, Suzanne) was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, humorous, and completely honest about the pros and cons of the various tables he sold. I returned a couple of days later and his wife, Suzanne, was there and was equally friendly and helpful. I chose a table strictly on the basis of availability and appearance (against Suzanne’s advice I might add) and delivery was scheduled in 2 days. Not only did they arrive on time, but they were early. Phil himself and a helper did the installation. Great care was taken to assure that every detail was attended to. The quality of accessory package supplied with the table far exceeded packages from other dealers. Unfortunately, we loved the table, but the color of the teak wood clashed with all the other wood in the room and I had not taken lighting into consideration in placing the table. After fretting for two days and trying to make the table color work, I decided to go back to Dr. Billiard to see what options I might have to remedy the problem, fully expecting to need to pay for my mistake. Phil and Suzanne embraced my issues and even though I was willing to compromise and live with the table color in a new location, they encouraged me not to compromise and to make the change that would be necessary to make me happy. They ordered another table and only charged me the difference in table price with no charge for the time necessary to disassemble and pick up the wrong color table or the time to deliver and assemble the new table. Their primary concern seemed to be me getting a table that I would be happy with. So if you want honesty, knowledge, service, and quality, these are the people you need to do business with. Don’t hesitate. Their prices seem more than fair and are backed by a policy putting your satisfaction first.
