Dr. Mitchell performed a root canal on me this morning. Great experience. Absolutely no pain! He and his staff were very attentive, patient, and courteous in my treatment and in answering my questions. I was given a complete review of the costs prior to the surgery. As with any procedure, doctors sometimes discover that the health of a tooth is not 100% evident until it is explored through surgery. Sometimes, as in my case, the doctor may determine additional work on the tooth or gum may be needed so that a crown will best adhere when inserted. The additional cost was minor, around $200 or so. I've had similar situations arise with other oral surgereons as well. So, I don't understand the poor review from Adam C.

I had a very bad experience with Dr Mitechell. The staff are very lazy and dishonest when it comes to insurance and charges. The doctor is rude to patient. When I asked a simple question about my tooth, instead of explaining it he implied that I'm not a doctor and don't know what I'm talking about! I heard the same story from other patients that I know. He did an unwanted optional treatment that cost me several hundred dollars. All they care about is MONEY and nothing else!
