Shoe Repair Dixson

I was absolutely thrilled with the work I had done by Dixon Shoe Repair. I was a little nervous at first because even though he came highly recommended to me, the owner seemed a little gruff on the phone. I was also nervous about whether or not he would do good work. He made me feel at ease when I dropped my boots off to him and it was obvious he knew what he was talking about. I just needed the shaft of a pair of boots stretched. He had me try them on and could tell just by looking how much they needed to be stretched. He kept them overnight. When I picked them up the next he only charged me $8!! I brought them back a week later to have them stretched just a little more and he even refused to take more money from me! It is was a pleasure working with him and I recommend his work!

If i could give this business negative stars I would. However, to submit this I had to give at least 1 star. This was the worst possible experience I have ever had getting something repaired. The owner was an impolite and rude man w/ horrendous work ethic. The leather work was imprecise and I ended up walking away with a product that was worse than what I brought in the first place. I am terribly unhappy w/ the experience I had w/ this business and would never NEVER NEVER suggest it to any of my friends. Beware of using this shop for any of your leather repair needs. The quality was poor and you most definitely could find another store who could do a much better job. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!
