Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 2 is a labor organization that represents bricklayers, plasterers, pointerers, cleaners, caulkers, tile and terrazzo workers. It provides unemployment insurance plans in accordance with the federal unemployment insurance law. The organization promotes the masonry and trowel trade industries. It offers on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs for members and families. Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 2 provides career in the construction trade for men and women in partnership with Helmets to Hardhats, a national-level program that is administered by Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment, and Veterans Employment. Additionally, it maintains a fund office that handles issues related to pension, health insurance and annuity.
