Amazing Hardwood Floor Svc

I have never had a company go back on their words before until I came to Amazing Hardwood (amazingly bad, that is). They (Joe, probably one of the owners) originally agreed to do three areas of my house for a certain price and gave me a verbal quote on it. A few weeks later, I still hadn't gotten a written quote, but I tolerated it, because I wanted to explore different wood options. After I decided on a wood and wanted to verify all the agreed upon terms, they decided to change their minds and said they would not include the third area for that price. And previously, they said they would include all the vents, but they went back on that as well. I was quite angry at this point and left. A week later, I called them back, just to see if I can get the quote written up with all HIS terms (i.e. don't do third area, don't include vents). They then told me that the price of the wood went up and that if I wanted them to do it, I'll have to pay them $1100 more! Wow, this IS amazing!! In order for that to happen, the price of the wood had to went up more than $2 per square foot, which is impossible in a one week period! To this day, I still don't have a written quote from them. And even if I did, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to go back on their written words as well. Stay AWAY from this company unless you want to deal with dishonest people who likes to constantly change their minds and jack up prices.
