General Info: The Family Enrichment Center offers several child care services. It provides academic curriculum for children up to 5 years, as well as serves snacks and afternoon meals. Located in Akron, Ohio, the Family Enrichment Center is a part of the Akron Area YMCA, which is one of the largest providers of nongovernment child care in the community. The Akron Area YMCA is a faith-based, social service health and recreational agency that serves Summit, Medina and Portage counties in Ohio. Its sports activities include basketball, baseball, football, soccer, volleyball and martial arts. The organization also conducts certification courses related to first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
