The Summit County Engineer's Office is a part of County of Summit in Ohio. The office is responsible for infrastructure improvement and economic development activities. Established in 1928, it maintains roads and more than 300 bridges throughout the county. The Summit County Engineer's Office also designs, constructs and inspects highways and ditches. The office offers installation services for traffic safety equipment and signs. It is additionally responsible for pavement marking activities. The Summit County Engineer's Office provides snow and ice removal solutions. The office offers house numbering services for unincorporated areas in the county. It conducts land surveys and provides intermodal and regional transportation planning solutions. The Summit County Engineer's Office has completed Northampton Road bridge replacement and Everett Road widening and resurfacing projects.
