Woodstock Properties Rentals Department is set up to generate profit primarily through stealing peoples deposits upon move out. Example: An $800. charge for drapery and carpet cleaning upon move out is not uncommon. >If you read the fine print in the 10 page ADDENDUM to their Leases, you'll note that you must continue to pay rent (and they force you to set up direct deposit) until you've paid one of THEIR Cleaning Companies to clean the Unit AND STILL CONTINUE TO PAY RENT (for up to three weeks after you've moved out) AND MUST STILL PAY RENT until WPs gets a chance to come "check it." They have it set up so as to return a very small portion or NONE of your deposit PURPOSELY!!! Also they only have a one day grace period on late rent. Their Addendum specifies that If it's not in by the 2'nd you'll be charged a ridiculously unheard of amount for 'late fee.' They have items in their Addendum such as a $50. charge if the OVEN INSTRUCTION BOOKLET is damaged or lost WHICH IS PROBABLY NOT LEGAL! Someone needs to take them to Court with a Class Action SUIT FOR MONIES 'STOLEN' OUT OF MINE AND YOUR DEPOSITS! They also REQUIRE YOU TO PURCHASE RENTERS INSURANCE which they don't tell you until you are sitting down to sign a Lease. Many of the Bldgs they manage are infested with BEDBUGS as they refuse to fumigate. The Bldg located at 2126 Lauula st. has been ABSOLUTELY INFESTED with BEDBUGS for years and WPs refuses to do anything. It's a lower cost bldg with people on Disability living there who cannot afford the $500. to fumigate. The smell of insecticide permeates the hallways daily. This is the worst Rental Agency on Oahu GUARANTEED!
