David Krantz
President of YELLOWPAGES.COM
David Krantz is President of YELLOWPAGES.COM, a local search company wholly owned by AT&T. Mr. Krantz is responsible for guiding the company’s overall growth and strategic business direction, including overseeing the development and positioning of new technologies and services. With a diverse background in growing consumer and Internet-based services, Mr. Krantz brings a strong vision for directing advertising and local search crossover with existing and emerging media channels.
During his 16-year career, Mr. Krantz has held a variety of leadership positions in consumer marketing, business development, e-commerce and finance. Before joining YELLOWPAGES.COM, he led AT&T’s Business Development team and was responsible for discovering and deploying new services for AT&T consumer market customers. Mr. Krantz has also served as Vice President of Product Management, Strategy & Business Development for AT&T’s Consumer division, providing an array of local and long distance services, prepaid and subscriber calling cards, and dial-up and broadband Internet access services. As a member of the executive leadership team, Mr. Krantz led the division’s product management organization in addition to directing overall strategy and business development activities.
Prior to AT&T, Mr. Krantz was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at GoDigital Networks, a telecommunications equipment company. As an executive management team member he was responsible for marketing and business development, which included product planning and management, pricing, marketing communications, business development and corporate strategy.
Before that, Mr. Krantz was Senior Director of Marketing and Development for Netscape Business Solutions at America Online/Netscape Communications. At Netscape he created the business plan for a new AOL business unit chartered with leveraging Netscape and AOL assets to build strategic partnerships that drove e-commerce business opportunities.
Mr. Krantz has also held marketing and finance positions at Pacific Bell, Sprint and Procter & Gamble.
He earned an MBA from Harvard University, and received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce.
