Preparing for your YELLOWPAGES.COM Interview
Getting ready for a job interview can be both exciting and nerve-racking. We're just as excited to meet you as you are to meet us, and we want to make it easy for you to be comfortable and prepared when you come to interview with us. Here are some helpful tips on how to prepare:
Be sure to completely fill out any paperwork sent to you by our recruiters. You may find that some of the information we ask for is already on your resume. However we ask that you take the time to complete the necessary documents so that your application may be processed without delay.
It's a good idea to get a copy of the full job description for the position you're applying for so that you have a complete understanding of what the position requires, and so you can get a good understanding of how your skills fit in.
Be sure you have complete work history information, including company information, names of supervisors, and up-to-date contact information. This applies to contact information for references, too. Having this information helps to expedite the hiring process should an offer be made.
Be sure to bring extra hard copies of your resume to share with interviewees. It helps to have one for yourself as well so that you can easily expand on the highlights of work you've done in the past, and always have a reference point should you get a little nervous.
The environment at YELLOWPAGES.COM is both casual and creative. However, we do ask that you dress in professional business attire on the day you come to meet with us.
We're interested in getting to know you, and we invite you to get to know us, too. We're one of the biggest and the best Internet Yellow Pages out there, and we're proud of what we do. Be sure to visit our Web site at www.yellowpages.com and familiarize yourself with who we are and what we do.
After you've had a chance to look over our site, check out our Press & Media Page, and search for news about what we're doing on the Internet. Then take the time to prepare a list of questions to ask during your meeting. Remember - the interview is a two-way conversation. We want you to ask questions and we're ready to answer them, too.
