Great repair service! We have relied on them for years. Just had our car into their shop expecting an expensive repair bill. They put my mind at ease, telling me what was wrong and not forcing unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend.

My daughter lived in Abilene for a very short period of time, during which she experienced car trouble. She went to these folks and they said that they would have to hook her car up to their diagnostic machine to evaluate what the problem was.



After doing so they told her that she needed a new set of spark plugs. She told them to go ahead and replace the plugs. Final bill for replacing 6 spark plugs, $225.00 plus the cost of running the diagnostic test. I have never heard of a shop charging for the diagnostic test WHEN they also do the repair work. I'll let you be the judge on whether this was reasonable services or not.



AND, her car was no better afterwards. Come to find out (from another diagnostic test done elsewhere) she has a failure in one of her head gaskets which Vernon & Fletcher Automotive never picked up on.

My whole family has been using Vernon & Fletcher for over 10 years now and I can say with absolute certainty that these guys know what they're doing, and will always be totally honest with you. They always give an estimate up front before starting any work, and genuinely have the customer's best interest in mind when giving their recommendations. And they usually can get most work done on 1 or 2 days! I'm just thankful I have a great mechanic who I can trust to quickly fix my cars, and at a fair price.

Vernon & Fletcher was just a click and answered prayer from internet guide. Having no idea about them, I read one review and took the chance. From the first phone call to check out, the entire group was helpful to this parent out of town dealing with a college student's car. They were very professional, diagnosed the problem, and explained it all.

The problem was not as severe as feared and they absolutely took great care to put the vehicle back on the road only after completely checking the vehicle. All this was done for a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Vernon and Fletcher to everyone.
