DO NOT EVER GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE!!!!!

I took my dog in this past Saturday to be groomed and she has always been an outgoing, loving, friendly dog. I dropped her off at approx 11:00a Saturday and they called me at 6:00p to come get her. I held her for a moment and she was already acting funny. After we got into the car she started whimpering and walking around in circles, she was not able to sit down on her behind. After I got home I inspected her and she was cut in several places (I have pictures) and her behind looked like someone cut it wide open, (which I also have pictures of). She will no longer come to me or my kids, she bit my daughter for no reason the first night we brought her home for trying to pick her up. I jusxt wanted my dog groomed, not for her to get traumatized. Now it is going to take a lot of work and TLC to get her back to the way she was, if that is even possible at this point.

I called the groomer and spoke to the owner Kay who stated it is normal for them to take the sheers and run them right down the behind, that some dogs skin is more sensitive so it cuts them open. She also said she has never heard of a dog leaving a groomer with a changed personality so she doesn't understand why my dog would have changed like that. In no way did she take responsibility for the actions they have now left my dog scarred for.

Kayz Kutz always welcomes our dog for boarding. No dog likes to be away from home, but she seems comfortable and cared for. I have to admit that her social skills seem improved too.

I left my puppy there to be groomed and when I went to pick her up the owners were not present, but the girl in charge handed my puppy to me and charged me. As soon as I set my puppy down to walk I found that she was limping really bad. I had to come back the next day to talk to the owners and they denied injuring her and said that she was that way when I brought her in which is a complete lie and I have numerous witnesses to prove it. I told them that on her other paw they had also cut her to the quick and the response they gave was that all groomers do that. I said that I had another dog that was 13 and he had never had a groomer do that to him and they said then "You must have God as a groomer". They were very hateful and did not care that they had injured my puppy. They tried to say that maybe she was getting arthritis... she was barely a year old. It took her 3 weeks to heal and she was nervous and shaky everytime we left her for weeks after the incident. She is fine now... but no dog should have to suffer from people like this who don't care about pets or customers.

From start to finish the only good was the pets are still alive. Very upset they were given meds without our consent and the grooming was poor, it was like a 100.00 trim as they were as shaggy when picked up as when they were dropped off. Dropped off at 9.00 and were not called until 5.00 for pickup, were they left in cages all day or were they at least taken outside from time to time? The dogs were very quiet and withdrawn all the rest of the day and continued into the next morning, they have NEVER reacted in this way, makes me wonder what was going on when left there? Will never return here nor would we recommend this groomer to anyone else.‎ Dont take the chance with this place.

I left my dog there to be groomed, the groomer was very friendly, the staff was excellent, everyone was helpful. I will definatly be back.

kay has been cutting my cat for years and i have been very satisfied with her work.

I scheduled a grooming appointment for my two cats at 8am on a Saturday. I was told to bring proof that my cats had rabies vaccinations. I brought what I was given by the vet. I gave them to the owner Kay and she began telling me in a manner which I found to be rude that the documents was not sufficient. I suggestive we call the vets office because they are open that early. She ignored my suggestion and continued to tell me that it was the wrong paper but would accept it anyway! How benevolent of you, really!! I then asked how long it would take and was told that there were dogs that had been boarded from the previous night that would come first so it could possible take up to 6 hours for them to give my cats a bath and trim their nails. What was the point of making an appointment if others come first. Get more help or at least tell me before I make the appointment about the scheduling. I could not leave my cats in their carriers for several hours with dozens of barking dogs!!! Not recommended.

Kay cuts my Miniture Australian Shepherd and watchers him when I am out of town and he can not come. I highly recommend her she is fabulous!
