Olive Branch Animal Clinic

I have lived in Olive Branch almost 3 years and I have been taking my Doberman to Dr. Ruth since I moved here. Her staff is wonderful. Dr. Ruth is excellent. My Doberman is very protective and is usually very anxious around strangers. The staff are very professional and we always have a great visit. I let my dog choose his vet. If he is dissatisfied, I am dissatisfied! And I am very satisfied with their services. I was referred to the clinic by my sister who has been using their clinic for many years.

Our baby girl Sophie Ray Thompson has the best care at this office. The staff is very nice and helpful. And Dr.Ruth is very loving and patient with her. It's clean doesn't have odor and waiting room is very spacious.

Wish could give 0 stars! We had my little girls cat that got attacked by a neighbor's dog. Took it to this vet and thought they would take care is him. Said they needed to keep him a few nights. He improved after staying the first night. Little did we know no one would be checking on him during the night. Got there early in the morning the second night he spent there. He was laying in his pee soaked cage hooked to an iv and couldn't move out of the wetness. His body temperature was very low from this. He died later that morning. We were left with almost $500 vet bill and a feeling of them killing our cat. Had we known they weren't going to watch him at night we would have taken him home and cared for him.

After reading the first review. I totally agree with the office staff. I have enjoyed the vets and their care for my animals have been only par level. The wait is horrendous. Staff over UNFriendly! Beautiful place though.

Dr Ruth and her staff are very friendly and i can tell they love animals. But they are also very unorganized in record keeping and daily operations, not professional with the animals and clients, and i have come to the conclusion they are not competent in animal care. I kept using Olive Branch Animal Clinic because Dr. Ruth is friendly, but after several mis-diagnosis, botched surgeries, and poor wound care, i have switched Veterinarians. The new vet immediate saw several serious issues (after a leg amputation performed by Dr. Ruth) that Dr Ruth and her staff dismissed with a smile. I no longer trust Dr. Ruth and Olive Branch Animal Clinic with my pets. I recommend for everyone to take your pets elsewhere for competent pet care.

Dr. Ruth is very friendly and i have been using her for my pet care for several years. I always knew her office was unorganized and generally not professional, but that was okay since Dr Ruth was so friendly and general pet checkups and grooming was ok. However; recently my dog developed some serious issues. During this process, the lack of organization and professionalism made many of my dogs issues worse and due to several mis-diagnosis, a botched surgery, and poor wound care, I have concluded that not only is Dr. Ruth and the staff un-organized, they are also not competent at serious animal care. I took my dog to a new vet for a second opinion and the new vet immediately saw serious wound infection issues that Dr. Ruth and her staff dismissed the day before with a smile (and had been treating multiple times per week for the past 8 weeks). I do not trust Dr. Ruth or Olive Branch Animal Clinic with my pets anymore. Dr. Ruth and the staff are friendly, but not competent. I recommend everyone to take their pets elsewhere for treatment.
