Milwaukee Quick Guide
Milwaukee has both a lively cultural scene and the manufacturing muscle to produce some of America's most iconic products. The city's economy is driven by agriculture, government, manufacturing and retail and wholesale trade.
Downtown Milwaukee offers visitors a number of world class attractions with easy access via the Milwaukee County Transit Trolley (MCTS). The River Route includes stops in the historic Third Ward, home of the William F. Eisner Museum of Advertising and Design. Or take the Lake-Valley Route into Westown for access to the Milwaukee Public Museum and Discovery World Museum.
Milwaukee's City Hall is located at 200 E. Wells St. Other city departments and offices operate from the Frank P. Zeidler Municipal Building at 841 N. Broadway St. or the 809 N. Broadway Building. For easy access to all city offices and departments, residents are encouraged to call 414-286-CITY for Milwaukee's "One-Stop Shop for City Services and Information." As well, many Milwaukee county offices are located in the County Courthouse Building at 901 N. 9th St.

Things to Do in Milwaukee
Milwaukee's brewing culture is legendary. In fact, Milwaukee was once known as the brewing capital of the world. The city offers several venues for appreciating - and tasting - all things breweriana. For a historic overview, stop by the Museum of Beer and Brewing, or tour brewing facilities operated by Miller, Lakefront or Sprecher.
Several waterways including the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan provide a number of opportunities for boat tours, sailing and other water-related activities, depending on the Midwestern weather.
Those with a need for speed will appreciate the opportunity to tour the Harley-Davidson facility in Wauwatosa, where the legendary Sportster and Buell engines are assembled.
