        They treat you like family, and really do a great job! I have my eyes checked, and Dr. Walter did my cataract surgery.

        I also, went there on a recommendation. When I asked for my prescription I was told I would have to pay for it. Excuse me...I called my insurance company and they said absolutely NOT! That information is mine and I do not have to pay for it. When I returned the next day after my insurance company called them it was waiting at the desk. Dishonest is a word that comes to mind! I won't be back.

        I remember going to East Michigan Eye Center as a child and my parents still go there, so my family has been going there for over 20 years. Since the new Drs took over, now you have to pay to get your prescription written down if you are not going to purchase your glasses from them. Or, in the case of my father, if they are not able to make or order the type of glasses that he needs, they STILL charge you $35 to take a piece of paper out the door. This lack of common sense, and respect (especially considering the loyalty of how long we've been going there), is the reason my family will no longer be going to East Michigan Eye Center.

        The absolute best ever, you are treated with respect and as a friend not just another patient, And this shows in every staff member, I will never trust my vision/ eyes to anyone but Doctor Walt and Doctor Chris. they are hands down the Best!!!!!
