Bryan Quick Guide

The city of Bryan is truly located "deep in the heart of Texas." And while Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are all within a 200-mile radius, Bryan proudly stands on its own as one of the most livable cities in the United States. Bryan has what locals call "The Good Life, Texas Style."

Bryan's economy is primarily driven by education, as Texas A&M University in nearby College Station employs some 19,000 from the area; and the Bryan Independent School District (Bryan ISD) employs another 2,000. Other major employers are in the health care services industry and government.

The City of Bryan Municipal Building is located at 300 S. Texas Ave. and is the headquarters for most city departments and offices. The city's police department is located across the street at 301 S. Texas Ave.; however, a new Justice Center is being built at the corner of 29th and Texas, and is slated to be completed by 2008.
