They will put the wackiest things on the pizzas, but SOMEHOW it tastes really, really good! The restaurant itself is rather small, and although you *can* eat there, it's usually full anyway. An example of some of the ingredients on a pizza I've ordered from here is: Cheese, broccoli, cauliflower, dried apricot, a dollop of mashed potato, sun dried tomato, olives, mushrooms, and quite a few other things. Amazingly, the dried apricot really made it for me. As an added fun-bonus, they always paint a quick picture/or design on the pizza box lid. Every time I've ordered from them I've enjoyed the painted box top.
My husband and I visited the Franklin Blvd location. I know the manager through my boss who was very tenantive to our first visit. I spoke to the manager (over the phone) and asked him some questions about their pizza then placed my order. I told him my husband is from Chicago and loves Chicago Pizza. He reassured me we would not be disappointed. Man was he right !! We were originally going to do take out, but decided that pizza and cold beer sounded really good on Friday after a long work week. Great atmosphere and freindly staff !! Keep up the good work !! Can't wait for our next visit.
I love it here! The food is delicious an there are so many great kinds of pizza to choose from. And I love the atmosphere! The back deck is beautiful on a sunny day and the Carousel gives the whole place a fun, laid-back, carnival feeling. It's perfect for a huge group but it's just as good for 2 people to have lunch or dinner. I would definitely reccomend it!
