Dear Customer, I apologize for any inconvenience(s) you have experienced from our services. We at New China take all health/food safety issues seriously. We are aware of your concerns and have addressed them to management. As for our take-out trays, we have not changed the size of our boxes for over twelve years. Although we occasionally change suppliers, the ounces contained in our serving size remains the same. Due to several issues in which customers over-serve their take-out trays, New China is putting forth stronger efforts to prevent these instances from reoccurring. To help ensure take-outs remain an all-around smooth experience, we have posted several signs explaining how "Buffet-Togo"s work, which has greatly reduced our need to watch over customers as they serve. Our floors do tend to get filthy as they are heavily trafficked. However, during food-service hours we concentrate more on table-tops, preparation surfaces, and cooking instruments. We do not serve food from off the floor, so you don't need to worry that the "things" you saw being tossed into the fryer "could be dropped food from ground". If you have any further issues feel free to notify a staff member so that he/she may deal with the situation immediately. New China does not allow filming in the restaurant without permission as we make great effort to protect the privacy of our customers. I love, love, love this place. I have been eating here for years. No buffet, which I prefer, I know the food will be fresh and hot. They have a wide variety of both traditional Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. I love the General Tso Chicken - they actually have vegetables with the chicken!! The owner is a lovely woman who has always been very sweet and accommodating with any of my request. I usually do take out, but the restaurant has a nice decor and the wait staff are usually on top of everything (clean bathroom!! my yard stick on the cleanliness on areas I an unable to see). With almost every restaurant your gonna have some misses, but I would say 99 times out of 100, I have been completely satisfied. No Bamboo Garden for this girl - only Golden Crown.
I WAS INITIALLY GETTING GREAT FOOD FROM THEM. I ACCIDENTALLY ORDERED FROM ANOTHER LOCATION ONCE; FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I WANTED TO BUY FROM THEM AGAIN; BUY I WAS TOLD I COUNLD NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN. FOOD IS GOOD..THEIR TIMING IS ALWAYS WRONG..THEY SAY 1 1/2 HOURS & SHOW UP IN 15 MINUTES. A MORE EXPERIENCED MANAGER IS WHAT THE STORE NEEDS. AS FAR AS THEIR MINIMUM ORDERS ARE, I AGREE WITH A COMMENT ALREADY MADE BY ANOTHER CUSTOMER. ON A COLD NIGHT, OR ONE OF THOSE EVENING YOU ARE EXHAUSTED..GIVE THEM A TRY ..ALWAYS WHITE RICE ON THE SIDE..YOU GET TWICE AS MUCH....YOU'LL ENJOY
