I played this course for several years before it was totally redone. The new course is terrific. Three 9 hole layouts allows the course to handle the high volumes of play it gets during the summer months because of its convenient location. The original holes that were k...moreept are in better shape and maintain the history for those who have been playing the course for years. Some of the new holes near the clubhouse are much easier and allows for a variety of skill levels including families and those just learning the game. The clubhouse is nice though I found the food just ordinary, which is fine for a golf course. They host a lot of tournaments year round, so call before you show up. Due to heavy play, the greens can be in rough shape at times...people don's seem to repair their ballmarks as much on this course for some reason. Overall, I enjoy playing at this course and the rates are reasonable...convenient for a quick 9 on the way home from work during the week.view less

Quail Creek is a good course, well maintained, but tougher than you think. It's not usually crowded: I've had little trouble just walking on after work. While it has some easy holes, many have become more challenging because they started out narrow and the trees and bushes...more grew in, making them extremely narrow, with some blind shots. If they would clean out the brush in the woods and by the creeks, you wouldn't lose $40 in balls per game, and spend an extra 30 minutes of play time looking for them. If you hook or slice off the tee, bring at least a dozen balls (or straighten it out on the driving range beforehand). Underneath the very short grass on some of the fairways is hard-packed dirt/clay, which makes for a disappointing 2nd shot after a good drive. Best to play after a good rainfall.view less
Emerald Greens is a very nice course with a fun and challenging layout. It has reachable par fives and challenging par fours. It is reasonably priced. A great value and a really fun course.
