I recently came back to dayton for a funeral. When I left my home state i was in a hurry and could not get a perscription filled. When I got to Ohio most of the pharmacies in the Dayton area would not fill my perscription. All they had to do was call my home state and ask my pharmacy or talk to my doctor. After the 7th pharmacy saying "No" I was out of options. I stopped by Zik's on 3rd Street and explained my situation. The staff there was understanding and helpful. I don't know the pharmacists name but I think it was Nnodum Iheme? Whoever it was He helped me out extraordinarily well. He made the calls for me. Told me why I was having problems getting it filled. The problem was it was at the Pharmacists discrestion. All the "chain" stores and pharmacys didn't have time for me. My only regret about Zik's is they don't have a location in my home state so that I can give them more of my business. They were able to fill my perscription in about 45 minutes. It took that long because they were waiting for my home pharmacy to call them back and verify my information. Thank you Zik's for helping me through a tough time and doing the extra work! It was one less thing to think about during my hard time. If I ever relocate back to Dayton you are my first choice. Michael B.
I have been to several pharmacies throughout the years and none compare to the hometown customer care that Tom and his team provides at this location! They know everyone by name and treat everyone with respect. If you have any questions regarding vitamins, prescriptions or health problems you'll always find an honest answer with this team! I highly recommend this pharmacy!
