I grew up eating at Cassano's I remember it even when I was really little. This was always my farvorite Pizza shop until about 5 years ago. I still love that thin crust deluxe very much and would go as far to say it is the best pie I have ever had, the toppings are perfect, the sauce is awesome! It just flat out taste great! (I grew up in New Carlisle and that to me is the best shop) This shop on brandt sold me a pie with the crust so hard that is broke apart like a cracker. That and not liking the handtossed style they have because it is just too thick has me going there less and less. Like I said the thin crust is still unchanged and awesome. There subs are pretty good and I actually like the steak sub a lot. The prices have gone through the roof and even a good coupon for Cassono's still makes it more costly than other really good shops. Overall it is a great place to sit down and have a great meal (minus the thick crusts pizza's). If you don't mind spending a little bit more money it really is worth the stop. One of the better local pizza chains.
We first ate at Dewey's near Montgomery Town Centre mall outside of Cincinnati and loved it. At the time we were living in Colorado and could visit California Pizza Kitchen. We have since moved to Dayton and found a Dewey's here. It's just as good as the first one we tried. The salads are beyond outstanding (and I'm very picky about my salads and dressings - I make all my own dressings homemade), the beer selection is varied and good, and the pizza and calzones are some of the best we've had anywhere in the country. They make the standards (cheese, pepperoni, hawaiian) and lots of unusual combos too, which we love. You can also build your own to get it exactly the way you want it. If you love CiCi's or Pizza Hut this isn't your place. If you love high quality food, good and friendly service, and a slightly upscale environment you are going to really enjoy Dewey's.
Marco's is quickly becoming a Dayton staple, and overall it is a typical pizza nothing really special about it really, because of the price we give it 3 stars, the price is pretty good, and it is a good place to get some grub if you are out & about. There are goods and bads here. The goods are the sauce is pretty good the toppings are tasty and it fill you up. The bads are a stiff crust, minimal cheese, and poor service. This is a run of the mill pizza shop and after all the fuss I just thought it would be more than run of the mill. Not too bad, not too good, it is all about your taste and what you are looking for and what it is, is a typical Dayton pizza shop.
Only 1 of 3 pizza shops to get our 5 star rating. Where do I start? The sauce is outstanding, the chese is wonderful, the smell of the pizza alone gets the stomach growling and the juices flowing in our mouths. Nice big slices of awesome New York style pizza. It really does not get much better than this for us. We rate pizza for the sake of letting people know some great spots, after all we eat pizza all the time and have visited every pizza place in the Dayton area. This is a must stop for anyone wanting an awesome pie. This is as real as it gets in the Dayton area. A little pricey but I am sure you will not mind when you taste this pizza, it is crazy good.
1 of only 3 pizza shops to get our 5 star rating in the Dayton area, they keep us coming back with outstanding pizza, great prices, and great service. We have been known to get that craving for pizza after midnight and this is our spot for sure. The brooklyn style crust is AWESOME! and $7.99 for a lrage takeout special is right up our alley, this place is a cut above most pizza places in the area, sometimes I get that taste in my mouth and the only way to fix my craving is to go and indulge in a great domino's pizza. They have really stepped up their game in the past few years and they make one hell of a pie! A must eat.
We do not give many 5 star ratings, we hold the 5 star for the highest quality, prices, location, but with Pizza it is all about the taste, and this place is GREAT! We stopped in to get a pie and went for the 18 inch extra cheese. The pie was outstanding, plenty of cheese and the sauce was wonderful, the lady at the counter was very nice. They have plenty of options. My partner also took home a meatball sub and said it was one of the best she ever had. We have had every pizza in the Dayton area and this place is only 1 of three we give 5 stars. The price for the pie was great as well. You will not be let down.
The price is the only thig keeping us from giving it a 5 star rating, thin crust Donatos pizza is just awesome! The toppings are wonderful, the service is great, and the sauce is really really good. With all the competition in the area this place stacks up as one of the best, If you have not had a pie from here you are missing out. It is a bit pricey but not the worst in the area and when you eat a square you will without a doubt not mind the price so much, it is worth it. And if you like pepperoni as much as we do, you will not find another place around that stacks em on like this place does. A must eat..
Big Cheese with black olives is my favorite! Be careful though. This location is not consistent. You pay $25 for the largest and may receive the soggiest. I called headquarters, they gave me a $10 credit. The point should be, make the best crispy crust, unburned pizza every time for the money. I recommend Cassano's just be mindful before walking away with it. As usual, I am famished when I order and willing to eat it however I get it rather than wait another hour for a makeover. Famished consumers are at the mercy of the restaurant. Geez.. Please work on it Cassano's! You are my favorite when it's right
I really, really loved this place. Tonight was the first time I've eaten there (thanks to my husband) and I was really impressed. We ordered out and brought it home and all I can say is YUMMY! We ordered the deep dish crust with pepperoni and some veggies. It was a little oily, but I still think it's probably one of the best pizza's I've had. We got a large which came with 10 square pieces (that were all decent sized) and it came to about $16. So, all in all, I would say it's comparable to the main stream pizza restaurants. I will definitely eat there again and would absolutely recommend it.
Great atmosphere and set up with a cute outdoor patio. However there is only 1 size of pizza and it is very small, my husband and I left hungry. The pizza was good, paper thin crust however. $11 for a small pepperoni pizza in Dayton is pretty pricey. Good selection of craft and local beers, also pretty expensive for a beer in this area. Would be a great place to hang with friends and watch a game on the Tvs if you're not planning on a filling dinner. Small parking lot off the side but street parking seems pretty available too. Line moved quickly and we sat right down.
