First, I absolutely love Chinese food. We usually get General Tso’s Chicken that comes with fried rice and the Lo Mein House Special Noodles with white rice (separate carton). Both are very tasty. I also get the wonton soup and egg drop soup occasionally, and the Egg Foo Young (I like hot, so this is kinda bland to me). They are the closest to us and it is a family owned and operated business. The service is great (faster if you are picking up for a large group). The price is average for Chinese and though they do not speak much English, they are nice. I am allergic to monosodium glutamate, but usually take a Benadryl beforehand because I know all Chinese food has some monosodium glutamate in it, so does pizza. But, it has much less if you ask them not to put it in. I want the “Yum Yum”, as they say in England… just make sure you take a Benadryl if you are allergic. ^_^
This is my favorite buffet in Ocala. That's mostly due to the fact that it's the only one I've been to and the closest one to my house. It's a buffet style, and has an excellent selection. The food all tastes delicious - I have never got the feeling that it had been sitting under the heat lamps too long. The service is excellent, and the price is amazing. It was only $17 for my friend and I. I would visit it again. In fact, I'm on my way to visit it now. Bon appetit!
Authentic Chinese food! The best you'll find in Florida. I go to their other locations in Tampa and Sarasota as well. I crave the same dishes that I always get, a 1/2 of the roasted duck (it has crispy skin but juicy meat and a great pan drippings sauce), the house fried rice (with a little extra sesame oil), the Chinese broccoli (with added raw chopped up garlic sautéed with it
