OMG! I have been going to Flower for 10+ years and will never let anyone else ever do my nails again. She is the nail master if there ever was one. Arnold does awesome pedicures but my favorite thing is a facial. Flower totally pampers her clients and really cares and remembers the things they like and don't like. It's like a big Pro Nail family. Even the clients have become friends with each other. My nails have never been as beautiful or WORRY FREE as they have been the last 10 years. You are wasting your money if you don't give her a try. 15 years ago I had permanent eyeliner done and just this week I had Flower redo it. She is so meticulous about the procedure and careful to be sure everything is sanitary. It was very different from 15 yr ago. She numbs the area and it doesn't hurt like you would think it would or like it did 15 yrs ago. Flower is so awesome. My friends are going to have her do theirs as well.
I'm really not sure why this place has such a low rating...I'm a Jacksonville native and have been to almost every nail salon in town. This one, by far is the best one in Jax! Their pedicures are amazing, especially for the price. They give you a hot stone massage & a paraffin wax for 28 bucks. That's unheard of! They are also so accommodating and lets be honest free cookies and slushie, they've got me hooked! I moved to DC and refused to go anywhere else. I would come home once every two months and the first thing I would do is get a pedicure at royal essence. Now that I live in Japan...my toes only get done once every 6 months. Yup you guessed it, only at royal essence! I seriously love this place and anyone that has given it less than 5 stars is unrealistic! This place will forever have my Business! Thanks royal essence for always giving me fantastic toes!
I hate giving 5 stars, because no place is perfect and there is always room for improvement, but I 'm giving Sunny Nails 5 stars because when I first saw Sunny Nails in the shopping center on Baymeadows near the Bailey's Gym, for some reason I just assumed it was not a nice salon, maybe because it is near Advanced Auto, I don't know, but boy was I surprised when I went it. It was nicely decorated, but not too extreme and the staff is nice, fashionable and speak English. I went once and although there are other shops I have visited and had planned to visit on Baymeadows I just keep coming back to Sunny Nails every two to two and a half weeks. I've been reintroduced to manicure treatments that I hadn't tried in a long time and new pedicure treatments I have never tried before and really like.
