We had to go to charlotte for my daughter's special needs cheerleading competition. We had originally reserved a room at an "upper class" hotel b/c they had an indoor pool. Upon getting there at 4 am we find out they only have a parking garage that our full size van cannot fit in. They did offer (this is also a marriott company) to have us park at the residence inn and they would shuffle us the 6 blocks but we were irritated b/c we had my daughter's equipment, powerchair, and our luggage. So, we just ended up staying at The Residence Inn.At first, we were disappointed b/c there was no pool, but it was less complicated, comfortable from the moment we got in our room, and all the people were so nice and helpful. We ended up forgetting about the pool entirely and ordered room service and stayed in out of the cold. On top of our weekend being relaxing, we left my cell phone there, they called said they had it, and I got it in 1 DAY!!! They really are nice and it's just nice to know that people still take the time to be the company they say they are.

This was my first experience staying at a Knights Inn. I found it courtesy of my gps and 90 minutes till my class after traveling all night, i had arrived way before check-in with no reservation, but i did have an internet rate which a very welcoming and friendly staff member honored. I had to pay a small early check-in fee, but trust, I had no problems with doing so. I was in my room in no time and extremely surprised as to how clean my room was and as I later found out after class, HOW COMFORTABLE THE BED WAS, I was asleep in no time and awoke refresh for day two of class. As a female who often travels alone, I can say I felt safe. Before I go, let me just say it was located not even 8mins from a Super Walmart, a Walgreen's and a few places to eat. Knights Inn is not a four star hotel, but it's staff members and willingness to help made it feel that way!
I wish there were hotels this nice for this great of a price near me. Granted, I love my apartment, but man sometimes it is just so nice to sleep in a bed that someone else has to make! And speaking of beds, ooo were the beds here comfy! I slept so well during my stay, and I swear they are totally responsible for me not having the slightest bit of time-difference-jet-lag. I loved that the hotel didn't smell like hotel. You know that weird smells-like-a-lot-of-other-people smell? Nope. Not here. The rooms were nicely appointed, the beds super comfy, the wireless plenty fast, nice breakfast spread, and SUPERIORLY FANTASTIC staff at the front desk. They are reason enough to stay here, but those other reasons make it extra worthwhile too.
Great staff and great office workers. No problems. Happy to have a clean room and good security at all times. No boogy men, I will recommend and already have, for friends to stay at this hotel. For the price and the niceness we were treated with, I will stay again and again with no issues. Mitchell, our night security man was exceptional in his duties. The breakfast was very, very good. We were in meetings most of the day but did have a chance to have a meal and it really rocked. My wake up calls were right on time, thank you. Keep up the good work, hopefully see you next year. As I said, I was in meetings most of the day and was not able to take pictures. But the rooms were nice and made you feel welcome.
The air conditioning is cold and the beds are comfortable. The wi-fi access works reasonably well, and the fridge in the room keeps things nicely chilled. Those seeking reasonable accomodations on a budget would do well to consider this hotel. Before staying here, I saw this motel had fairly reasonable reviews, with a few negative comments. I decided to give it a shot, and I have to say that not only did I not regret it, but I ended up staying an extra night when work kept me in town. My experience at this hotel motivated me to create an account on this website, in the hopes that my experience might sway those who are on the fence about this location to consider giving it a visit.
Last month I was taking a road trip and stayed here on 2 seperate occasions on my trip, both just walk-in's. Awesome location, nice clean rooms, cold A/C, Extremely polite and courteous staff (talked with cleaners as well as multiple staff at the front desk). It's a Fabulous Deal as well! On the second visit I had totalled my car, came in late, and was heading to the airport in the morning. They got me the same room, were very nice, called me a cab company they knew when i checked out, and they let me grab some breakfast even though I had missed the hours of it. This is an excellet place and I will definately stay there anytime I am in the area.
I booked a night at Knights Inn Charlotte Airport Hotel for my family. I hoped the suite would be nice with all of the standard features a room should have. Once checked in (hours early - thank you Knights Inn Charlotte Airport Hotel) we found that the layout of the room was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The parking was convenient and simple. The getaway was a success in large part to the fact that this hotel had a very comfortable feel. My search for the perfect fit is found - this will be our place of choice from here on out.
My fiance' and I needed a place to get away (near a place where we could do some shopping for our wedding). We figured Charlotte would be a nice place, and we were thrilled to find a hotel that didn't cost a lot. After all, the only reason we needed the room was to sleep and shower. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly. He offered several papers/maps that had some shops for wedding shopping. The room was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the heat worked, and the bathroom was clean. I was happy.
I have stayed in this hotel several times during my visit to Charlotte. Knight inn staff was very helpful. Rooms were neat and clean and it was extremely great experience with the bucks that I spend. Many choices in morning breakfast, room’s availability with sofa, working table, chair along with refrigerator and microwave in every room were real plus. I defiantly recommend it to others and keep using it on my future trips to Charlotte. Great! Job by all the people who are in the reception.
Room was very large & nice....But the bed is hard as a brick & small. We were going to check out. But the gentlemen at the front desk suggested a piece of foam & would have it sent to our room.It never came until we told the next shift. The assistant manager of housekeeping brought it to us to put on ourselves...Wow we are not lazy but we are paying over $100+ a night.Anyways the another gentleman came and put it on.Other than that nice hotel but would not stay there again due to the beds.
