Me and my daughters love this place and frequent it quite often; I think the waitstaff is wonderful, we've been fortunate enough to get the same waitress several different times and we're always delighted to have her as our waitress, she remembers who we are and she's so nice and helpful. I think the service is extremely fast and we've been there in both situations; busy vs hardly anyone else there besides us and it hasn't once changed the amount of time we've had to wait for our food. I try to go as often as possible; and so long as I can afford it at the time but I have yet to have a bad experience here and will continue to go time and time again for not only the food but the friendly people as well.
This place has awesome sushi. I have a personal policy to never eat at a sushi place before getting a review on it first, but I took a chance with Matsu, and I'm so glad I did. The sushi is amazing, fresh, delicious, and pretty reasonably priced. I've eaten here multiple times in the past few weeks, and each time has been incredibly satisfactory. And: I haven't gotten the least bit sick at all. I can taste the freshness! The service is great too. The wait staff is personable and well-groomed! The wait for food can be a little long during peak times, but not unreasonable. I highly recommend this place!
ok me and my boyfriend have tried almost every sushi place in va bch and we always come back to master choo hes the best everyone of his rolls explode with flavor. everything is so fresh. im telling you if you think you like sushi and you eat at one of the hundreds of sushi places around youll love sushi and eveything about it after you eat master choos sushi go once and youll drive 45 mintues if you have to eat sushi there from then on lol seriously though
I'm a huge Sushi fan, and if you're looking for REAL Sushi and not crappy habatchi sushi, then you need to go to Sakura. It's right near Virginia Beach Town Center, but it's kind of a hole in the wall. Fair prices for their HUGE portions, unlike Town Centers "Zushi" which, don't waste your time. Make sure to get the Chesapeake Roll and ask for the Spicy Mayo on top, it's the best!! Hope this helps those Sushi cravers!!
One of the best restaurants for the sushi aficionado in Virginia Beach. The food is excellent as is the service. The variety of nigiri, sashimi, maki is plentiful. I eat at Nara's frequently and have always been presented with an appealing presentation of my menu choices. I can't wait for my next dining adventure at Nara's.
The food is good and the service is good, however the automatic adding a tip to the bill insulting. It should be up to the patron who has received the service to make a decision on the tip and not the waitress or the person processing the checkout. If this keeps happening you should find another restaurant to eat at.
Yummy, affordable, and all you can eat. Would have been 5 star if our waitress was a little faster. Nice atmosphere... and loved that it was all you can eat, yet everything was made to order off the menu.
Very authentic - felt like I was in Japan again. Volcano roll was off the hook! Really liked the spicy tuna crunch too. I can not wait to come back.
Please stop in and order the Seattle rolls they are amazing!! Best sushi tin the US!! We drove 7 hrs. for this and worth every mile!!
This new place has great food and the price is even better. Highly recommend it.
